Amy is the Harvest Public Media reporter at Iowa Public Radio and covers agriculture and food production. Before coming to Ames, Iowa in 2012, she freelanced for many years in Massachusetts, Alaska and California, writing and producing for a wide range of media outlets that includes NPR, Marketplace, Living on Earth, the New York Times, the Boston Globe and Real Simple. In 2011, she produced Peace Corps Voices, an hour-long radio documentary in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps.
